Welcome!

I feel like writing an 'About Me' is way more awkward than writing a far too detailed blog post, is this weird? Probably.

My name is Jessie Maynard and I am in my late 20's (wow, I cannot believe I just wrote that). I was born and raised in Florida, in the same, exact town I currently live in with my darling husband, Joshua. We have been married for a little over 5 years, which is really exciting to say since we officially hit a milestone. We have no children, yet. We are in the waiting and if you stick around long enough you will read all about our journey to parenthood. I work at a local college and my husband is the Associate & Youth Pastor at our church. We have been blessed beyond words, and a really special blessing is getting to live 5 minutes away from both sides of our families.

This blog was created out of a desire to share what God has done in my life and the grace that He offers us all. It was created to share about things that, perhaps, a lot of women feel as though they need to keep inside. It was created to encourage and motivate women (of all ages) to their God ordained position as a Daughter of the Most High King. It was created to lead, even if just one person, to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
